Open Invitation to Footscray Learning Precinct Consultation

The Footscray Learning Precinct is an exciting initiative by the Andrews Labor Government to provide lifelong learning for people of all ages, at all stages. It aims to deliver individual learning opportunities tailored to each person’s needs in what will be world-class facilities to meet our future requirements.

This project will integrate all levels of education, from early childhood development to primary, secondary, University and TAFE and on to adult and community learning including University of the Third Age.

For children it enables them to learn at their own pace, to be supported where they may struggle and assisted where they excel no matter what age group they belong to.

For adults it is an opportunity to provide learning for learning’s sake, to retrain, or to gain qualification through many pathways.

Join me for a community consultation session in my office where we will be providing information and be there to answer any questions you may have about this revolutionary development.

Most importantly, we want your contribution for, this Australian first learning precinct – what facilities it will provide and the learning experiences that our children and community should receive. That will meet our needs now and prepare us for the future.

When: 7.30PM Tuesday 29th November

Where: Marsha’s Office, 204 Nicholson Street, Footscray
